This week’s report on home values for Mission Viejo and surrounding areas homes is prepared by a Mission Viejo Realtor Tim Lorenz. The report shows the Orange County Median Prices for resale homes were up 4.5 percent, for new homes up 13.5 percent and for resale condos up 8.0 percent. The sales volume is down for resale homes 10.3 percent and down 11.5 percent on condos and up 22.3 percent for new homes.

Mission Viejo Zip Code 92691 sales prices are up 6.0 percent and the sales volume is down 22.0 percent.
Mission Viejo Zip Code 92692 sales prices are up 0.7 percent and the sales volume is down 8.8 percent.
Aliso Viejo sales prices are up 4.6 percent and the sales volume is down 8.6 percent.
Laguna Niguel sales prices are up 0.2 percent and the sales volume is up 1.9 percent.
Rancho Santa Margarita sales prices are up 13.2 percent and the sales volume down 10.3 percent.
San Clemente Zip Code 92672 sales prices are up 16.7 percent and the sales volume is up 12.3 percent.
San Clemente Zip Code 92673 sales prices are down 0.0 percent and the sales volume is up 5.8 percent.

This week we are seeing another big change in the market sales are way down this a complete shift from the last week. When the market is shifting like this there must be a big reason I said last week well I guess it was just and fluk. Could it be that the stock market was so volitile. We need to watch closely when the changes are so big.
